SRK's DON2 set to release in a whopping 41 countries.

Shah Rukh Khan's much-awaited film, 'Don 2: The King is Back' will be released in 41 countries. 'Don 2' is directed by Farhan Akhtar, who also helmed the first installment 'Don: The Chase Begins Again' (2006), a box-office hit and a remake the 1978 Hindi cult classic 'Don', starring Amitabh Bachchan.
"Learnt yesterday that Don 2 will release in 41 countries worldwide. Wow!! I guess that's the number of countries now out to catch him!!," Farhan wrote on twitter.
'Don 2' will be released in UK two days before its December 23 opening in India and the rest of the world. "Feel so proud to see the extent to which interest in
Hindi movies has grown.. Thanks to you.. the Fans (pat yourself on back moment)," Farhan said.

SAMSUNG rolls out the new OS upgrade for its GALAXY range smatphones and Tabs

Here's a good news for Samsung Galaxy owners. The Korean giant is all set to roll out Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) update to its Galaxy S II smartphones and Galaxy Tab tablets as early as 2012.

Samsung on its official blog confirmed that the platform update for Galaxy S II and Galaxy Note will start in the first quarter of 2012, and other Galaxy devices will follow soon.

Samsung in the blog post states that The ICS-upgradable smartphones include Galaxy S II, Galaxy S II LTE, Galaxy Note and Galaxy R. Among the tablets, Galaxy Tab 10.1, Galaxy Tab 8.9, Galaxy Tab 7.7, and Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus will receive the latest upgrade.

NOKIA panics as a minor software glitch hits its flagship LUMINA 800

 Nokia has identified a software glitch in some units of its Lumia 800 and offered to replace the handsets of affected users within a week of the Windows-based smartphone's high-profile launch in the country.

"India impact will be minimal since we just started shipping," a Nokia India spokeswoman said. The glitch prevents the handset from accessing full battery capacity and Nokia said it can be fixed with a software update that it will release early next year, but critics see it as a major setback to the Finnish giant's efforts to defend its leadership in the smartphone market under threat from Samsung.

Nokia had unleashed its biggestever marketing blitz to promote Lumia , its first Windows-based smar tphone, which many analysts called a make-or-break product for the world's largest handset maker. An expert said this will impact brand Nokia. "An amazing glitch after an amazing marketing campaign ," he said, requesting anonymity . "Already under fire, this battery issue would come as a New Year gift for its rivals."

Gud to be back

Hi everyone! Its gud to be back and i cant hide my excitement ,coz this is my first post using Android and that to installed on a nokia N900.  Gosh i can really shout  out, "i feel like god". Ill post on the adventure a bit later.

Now that people in India have come out of their busy schedule for some entertainment, and also given the fact that digital gadgets are finding place in every household , I think it would help all you people planning to buy or know about this beautiful gadget.First of all , its capabilities , Im not going into the specs as i know you'll get on every site, so it can play DVDs i.e. even movies,songs,and offcourse games. It has support for USB,HDMI,WiFi,etc. You can get one around Rs.14,500(revised price is Rs.13,700). As of my experience it is really great and is a bit better than sony's ps3 ,reasons ill write in another entry at a later date.

NOKIA N900- My best gadget

Hi all its been a long since i have written an entry here, btw I almost left my hobby of blogging. But now I am back and what made me come back is this cute gaint gadget the N900.
It is one of the best gadget (or call it the smartest phone) produced by NOKIA. It packs in a punch with it. For the people still unaware of its features here is a dosier.
First thing is that it has an LINUX OS codenamed MAEMO which is a bit different from the usuall phones.Secondly you name a feature and N900 has it all, be it IR,inbuilt drive,BT,camera,etc.But its nothing special, all phones do come with these features, dont they? The punch line of this beast is yet to follow, so read on. ANDROID has become a craze amoung the smartphone users. And each brand is bringing out the best features using this platform, and already popular OSes like WEBOS of PALM and iOS of iPhone are doing good. Now why should i mention all these OSes unwantedly in a topic which is not related by any means. Think again its related , because this beast is capable of running all these OSes in a jiffy. And the best part is that you can boot multiOS. Now thats awesome isnt it, you get a palm , android , Linux all the OSes in a single machine. The suckerpunch is that it also runs WINDOWS XP.
