A Mamoth 55ft snake found in malaysia

 

A photograph purporting to show a 55ft snake found in a forest in China has become an internet sensation.
It was originally posted in a thread on the website of the People’s Daily, the official Communist Party newspaper in China.
The thread claimed the snake was one of two enormous boas found by workers clearing forest for a new road outside Guping city, Jiangxi province.
They apparently woke up the sleeping snakes during attempts to bulldoze a huge mound of earth.
“On the third dig, the operator found there was blood amongst the soil, and with a further dig, a dying snake appeared,” said the post.
“At the same time, another gold coloured giant boa appeared with its mouth wide open. The driver was paralysed with fear, while the other workers ran for their lives.
“By the time the workers came back, the wounded boa had died, while the other snake had disappeared. The bulldozer operator was so sick that he couldn’t even stand up.”
The post claimed that the digger driver was so traumatised that he suffered a heart attack on his way to hospital and later died.
The dead snake was 55ft (16.7m) long, weighed 300kg and was estimated to be 140 years old, according to the post.
However, local government officials in Guiping say the story and photograph are almost certainly a hoax as giant boas are not native to the area.Via : peopledaily.com

Apple iWatch 2 Design Appears, More Elegant Than Ever

 Loading ... The creator of the first Apple iWatch and the iCam camera, ADR Studio has now come up with the iWatch 2 concept, that’s shown below. It’s been two years since the first iWatch design, that was praised and published on Gizmodo and Wired. Now there’s a new device, one that integrates WiFi, Bluetooth, a RSS reader and 32GB of memory.

You also get a weather forecast feature, the ability to connect to the iPhone or iPad via Bluetooth or WiFi and a LCD projector, plus front facing camera. The Apple iWatch 2 has a casing that reminds me of a jewel, with a very original slide to open box. The watch has a slim design, uses a polycarbonate main body, an aluminum chassis, PK2 Kevlar insert and a bracelet in 5 colors with polycarbonate insert.
I expect here the battery life to be simply amazing and in case you’re wondering if this thing it’s real, know that it’s a mere concept for now, but people have been wearing their iPod nano units like watches, by attaching bracelets to them. That’s as close to a real iWatch as you’re ever going to get… at least till Apple makes it. Once again great job for ADR Studio, that has some fantastic designs, I must admit…

Specs Appeal: Google X Lab Testing Virtual Reality Glasses

The closely guarded secret Google X lab has been testing the idea of ‘wearable computing’, said to be computer glasses that superimpose information over reality.

The original assumption was that the ‘wearable computing’ device would be some sort of watch running on Android, until Google specialist Seth Weintraub stated otherwise.

Reporting on 9to5Google Weintraub said: “They are in late prototype stages of wearable glasses that look similar to thick-rimmed glasses that normal people wear…However, these provide a display with a heads up computer interface. There are a few buttons on the arms of the glasses, but otherwise, they could be mistaken for normal glasses.”

The technology is supposed to be an open secret but has now reached the masses. Google have supposedly employed MIT wearable computing specialist Richard DuVal, who sounds like just the bloke for the job after completing a PHD titled, The Memory Glasses.

All sounds pretty Mission Impossible if you ask us…Watch this space.

 

Dhanush at IIM-A !

National Award winning actor Dhanush has come across as an example for viral marketing, after the craze that his Kolaveri song created worldwide. The track was penned and crooned by the Tamil hero for his soon-to-be-released movie '3', helmed by his director-wife Aishwarya and hitting the theatres in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously on April 13.
Such was his popularity that the 21 films old matinee idol was invited to Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) on Tuesday. "Gearing up to make my speech at IIM institute ahmedabad tom.I don’t know good English, but who cares. I'm an Indian. not English. Hehe," Dhanush tweeted about the invite.
The actor delivered hour-and-a-half long lecture regarding the success story of his 'soup song', its viral marketing and social media to about 130 students of Contemporary Film Industry course at the IIM-A.
He was accompanied by cousin and music director Anirudh Ravichander. The musical rendition became a raging success with over 10 million downloads online. The IIMs have since been treating it as a classic example of viral marketing and included as a case study for its students.

Deepika to play female lead in Rajni-starrer Kochadaiyaan

Speculations regarding Rajnikanth's [ Images ] lading lady in his new film Kochadaiyaan have finaly been put to rest.

It is not Katrina Kaif [ Images ] but Deepika Padukone [ Images ] who will act opposite the superstar in the film.

Early reports stated that Katrina Kaif had been signed which were later denied by the PRO of the production house. They have officially confirmed that Deepika has been roped in to play the female lead in Kochadaiyaan.

The 3D Tamil film will be directed by the mega star's younger daughter Soundarya [ Images ] R. Ashwin and written by K.S. Ravikumar.

Deepika was Rajni's heroine in Rana. The film went on the floor last year and the actor had shot a few scenes when he fell ill and had to take a break to recuperate.

Rana has been shelved for the time being and Rajni has taken up Kochadaiyaan.

Now, Dhanush sings for Tendulkar

For Tamil actor Dhanush, there is no getting away from his Kolaveri di fame. He is now inundated with really tempting offers to sing. And though he's reluctant about that, Dhanush has just come up with his second potential chartbuster which goes on air next week.

The song, a homage to cricketer Sachin Tendulkar [ Images ] goes, One plus one-u two-u two-u, if not Sachin who-u who-u...'

Dhanush, a big Tendulkar fan, wrote the song as a campaign for an energy drink.

Dhanush will be singing in Hindi movies too. Director Aanand Rai, who has signed the actor to play the lead in Raanjhanaa, has asked Dhanush to sing at least one song in the film. Though initially he begged off, sources close to the project say Dhanush has agreed to sing a folk song of Uttar Pradesh [ Images ] for his Varanasi character, which promises to be as catchy as Amitabh Bachchan's [ Images ] Khaike paan banaras wala in Don.

Dhanush still calls himself a reluctant singer.

"I really don't think I will be singing much," he says. "I'm an actor by profession, singer by default. Boost, the energy drink, approached me to do a song for Sachin Tendulkar, which I happily did. I've treated the song as an introduction to a mass hero. It has accessible lyrics like Kolaveri di."

About singing for his Hindi debut Dhanush says, "Whatever my director asks me to do, I will do."
